Three historic wines.
Three curious bottles.
Three great successes in the world of wine.
1. 2022 JP. Chenet Original Grenache - Cinsault (Since 1984)
This is one of the most globally recognized French rosé wines. It is famous for its iconic slanted neck bottle, designed to make it easier to hold the bottle by the neck.
Type: * Still Rosé Wine
Region: * IGP Pays d'Oc (France)
Alcohol Content: * 12.5% vol.
Grape Varieties: * Grenache and Cinsault
Tasting Notes
* *Color:* Pale pink, bright, with slightly salmon reflections.
* *Aroma:* Very expressive and youthful, dominated by intense notes of fresh red fruits (mainly strawberry and raspberry) and nuances reminiscent of fruity artisanal candies.
* *Palate:* On the palate it is light, balanced, very fresh and easy to drink, with a smooth and luscious finish.
* *Pairing:* Perfect as an aperitif, with salads (such as the typical Salade Niçoise), poultry skewers, assorted tapas or fruit desserts. Serve chilled, between *8°C and 10°C*.
2. Mateus Rosé - The Original (since 1942)
Mateus Rosé Original is a true global icon of Portuguese winemaking. It is a wine with a consistent profile over the years, maintaining its timeless recipe and classic bottle shape inspired by the canteens of the First World War.
Type:* Slightly Pétillant Rosé Wine (with a slight effervescence/sparkle)
Region:* Portugal (Table wine without a specific DOC to allow consistency in the blend)
Alcohol Content:* 11.0% vol.
Grape Varieties:* Baga, Rufete, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Franca
Tasting Notes
Color: Vivid, very appealing and bright pink.
Aroma: Youthful and seductive, with good intensity of primary aromas of fresh fruit.
Palate: It is a light, very balanced and tempting wine, whose palate is marked by a subtle sweetness compensated by acidity and brilliantly complemented by the spicy sensation of the effervescence (pétillant). The finish is smooth and refreshing.
3. 2025 Marqués de Vizhoja (since 1968)
Produced by Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja in Galicia (Spain), in the Condado del Tea region (near the border with Portugal). Although made mostly with noble varieties from the region, it is marketed as Vino de Mesa blanco (White Wine without a Protected Designation of Origin) by historical choice of the producer to maintain its traditional proprietary formula.
The iconic bottle is inspired by a leaf.
Type: * Still White Wine
Region: * Galicia (Spain)
Alcohol Content: * 12.0% vol.
Grape Varieties: * Albariño, Loureira Blanca and Treixadura
Color: Bright straw yellow with clear greenish reflections that denote its youth.
Aroma: Elegant, refined, and fresh aromas of white fruit (green apple and juicy pear), accompanied by delicate floral touches and subtle herbaceous notes.
Palate: On the palate, it is dry, very balanced, and with a refreshing citric acidity that makes it vibrant, while remaining light and easy on the palate.
Pairing: It is the classic pairing for seafood: shellfish, mollusks, crustaceans, and fish.
